Dog Care Services & Training in east-central Calgary
Chasin’ Tails offers a broad range of dog care services for all types of dogs, personalities, and preferences:
– they have a place at Chasin’ Tails, where we understand that not all dogs have the same idea of fun. We have multiple options for your dog and offer a free 6-hour assessment in our Free Play or Private Care program. A staff member will go over the assessment with you and suggest care options for your dog.
As an act of appreciation, we offer discounts to first responders (law enforcement officers, paramedics, EMT’s, firefighters and military).

Putting the Care in Doggy Daycare
Our caregivers are dedicated, educated, and experienced in the diverse field of canine care. As a result, all the guests at Chasin’ Tails are able to enjoy a stimulating and safe environment with friendly fellow dogs. Our dogs are separated according to size, age, and energy level. Each dog will receive a thorough assessment on their first day to see what area would best suit them. We have a large outdoor space available multiple times a day depending on the weather. We understand that Free Play is not suitable for every dog, which is why we have other options such as Private Care and Day School Programs.

Our daycare hours are from 5:30 AM to 9:00 PM every day of the year except Christmas (December 25).
Force-Free Training
We are Calgary’s first Alberta Force Free Alliance approved dog daycare and boarding facility. As such, we have signed a pledge that all animals under our care handled and trained without force, pain, intimidation, or negative stimuli. We handle dogs with as little resistance as is safely possible for them, us, and others. We use this approach in all our training including group classes and private consultations.
Grooming
Our trained groomers provide salon-like services on your doggy friend. Services range from a basic bath and brush to full grooms offered in four clips (smoothy, kennel, teddy bear, or breed). Nail trimming, ear cleaning and many other treatments, including hair-dyeing, are available as well.
Boarding not Boredom
We offer free play, open care boarding for vaccinated social-loving dogs and private care for dogs who do better alone. Personal attention is given to each dog by our caring around-the-clock staff. All feeding, approved treat-giving, and administering of required medication is done individually and one-on-one.
